Home solar · Bright Energy Collective
Your roof.
Your power.
A solar system starts with your home. We help you work through the roof, the electricity you use, and the options worth considering. Storage can be part of that plan, if it fits.
01 · Designed around you
A good plan starts before the panels.
Roof & sunlight
Start with the space above you.
Direction, shade, usable space, and roof condition shape the design. If your roof needs attention, we talk about that before panels go on.
Electricity use
Size it for the way you live.
Your usage history and utility rate plan give the proposal a real starting point. System size should come from your home’s needs.
Future plans
Leave room for what’s next.
An electric vehicle, a growing household, or a future battery can change the plan. Bring those ideas into the conversation early.
Bring your questions.
Your address.
A recent bill.
A place to start.
You don’t need to have the system figured out. We’ll work through the details with you.
Talk with Bright02 · Solar, with options
Make it by day.
Choose what comes next.
Panels make electricity. Batteries store some for later. Compare how each setup fits your day before deciding what to include.
| At home | Solar | Solar + storage |
|---|---|---|
| During the day | Use electricity as your panels make it. | Use solar and charge your battery with available energy. |
| After sunset | Use electricity from the grid. | Use stored energy, then the grid as needed. |
| During an outage | Standard grid-tied solar shuts down. | A backup-capable system can power the circuits it is designed for. |
Backup capability and duration depend on equipment, stored energy, sunlight, and the appliances you use. We review those details for your home.

04 · Before you go solar
A few things to clear up.
Do I need a battery to go solar?
No. Solar and storage can be planned together, but a battery is optional. Your utility plan, budget, and backup priorities help determine whether it belongs in your system.
Will I still have an electric bill?
Plan to keep a utility connection unless your system is specifically designed otherwise. Grid electricity, fixed charges, and export credits depend on your utility and system. We use your actual usage and rate plan when reviewing the numbers.
How much solar does my home need?
We start with your electricity use, roof space, and available sunlight. Then we discuss changes such as an electric vehicle. You don’t need to know a system size before getting in touch.
